The U.S. Air Force’s Premier College Intern Program (PCIP) targets individuals currently enrolled full time in college who are seeking a dynamic career with the Air Force Civilian Service. Premier Interns will have the opportunity to access special projects using cutting edge technology, while under the mentorship of senior managers. They will experience a 3-day Symposium to introduce them to the Air Force, Air Force Civilian Service, networking, and training (centrally paid for by AFPC). The paid 12-week internship will occur during the summer of their junior year (before heading into Senior Year). Upon graduation and program requirement completion, a Premier Intern may be converted to further developmental positions (i.e. PAQ) without further competition.

To be eligible for one of these internships, you must meet the following requirements

· U.S. Citizenship

· Enrolled in an approved, full-time program pursuing a Baccalaureate Degree (Juniors only)

· Minimum 2.95 GPA on a 4.0 grading scale

· Have one year of full-time hours/credits left in degree program

· Live near or are willing to move near one of the internship locations (which includes Scott Air Force Base, IL)

· Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance (Air Force will fund the clearance)
