“Workbook” will be on display from Aug. 22 to Sept. 19 at Gallery Visio.

There will be no standing back and simply admiring the art work at the next Gallery Visio exhibit at the University of Missouri–St. Louis.

Attendees will be active participants in the exhibition “Workbook,” which will be an interactive live art show. The walls of the gallery will be adorned with workbook activities from connect the dots to paint by number. Audience members will fill out the activities right on the walls of the gallery.

An opening reception will take place from 12 to 3 p.m. Aug. 22. The exhibit will be on display Aug. 22 to Sept. 19. Admission is free and the exhibit is open to the public.

The exhibit is sponsored by the Gallery Visio Student Association at UMSL.

Gallery Visio is a student-run gallery at UMSL. It’s located in 170 Millennium Student Center at UMSL’s North Campus. The gallery is committed to exhibiting art by undergraduate students and alumni at UMSL, as well as emerging artists. Regular hours are from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
