Pazazz Gala 2013

Description: Pazazz Performers of St. Louis Academy of Dance is thrilled to be hosting its Third Annual Gala! Shared proceeds from the Gala will benefit Drea’s Dream, a dance therapy and expressive movement program for children with cancer and special needs, as well as help support and fund Pazazz Performers. The Gala will also give the Pazazz dancers the unique opportunity of performing on a professional stage in their own concert. Pazazz is thrilled to announce The Big Muddy Dance Company, along with Common Thread Contemporary Dance Company, will be performing at the Pazazz Gala! A Discussion of the Musical Creative Process

Description: Martin Kennedy, assistant professor of composition at Washington University in St. Louis, will discuss the creation of his recent compositions and describe the role of the composer in the contemporary classical music world. A doctoral graduate of The Juilliard School, Kennedy has received such prestigious awards as the ASCAP Rudolf Nissim Prize and First Prize in the “2 Agosto” International Composing Competition. Kennedy’s music has been performed by orchestras worldwide and is published by G. Schirmer and Theodore Presser Co.

Basic Conversational Bosnian

Ferguson Lunch Trolley

Description: The free Ferguson Lunch Trolley is back! Don’t lose your parking spot. The Lunch Trolley provides free round-trip shuttle service to Ferguson Citywalk restaurants for lunch on Wednesdays. The trolley will make four continuous loops between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sandwich board signs will be placed at trolley pickup sites.
