Kathleen Sullivan Brown, associate professor of educational leadership and policy studies, was quoted Aug. 8 in the Associated Press article “Missouri school transfer ruling opens old wounds,” which ran in nearly 300 publications across the United States. Brown was quoted Aug. 14 in the St. Louis Public Radio | 90.7 KWMU article “FAQ: What you need to know about Missouri school transfers.” She was quoted Aug. 22 in the St. Louis Beacon article “Place matters: Changing schools can change student test scores, research shows.” Brown was quoted Aug. 23 in the KTVI (Channel 2) story “Will your school district lose its accreditation?” She was quoted Aug. 23 in the KSDK (Channel 5) story “Commissioner: Minority achievement gap widening in Missouri.” Brown discussed what the new scores mean for the future of St. Louis-area schools on the Aug. 26 episode of “St. Louis on the Air,” a program on St. Louis Public Radio.

Michael Campbell, assistant professor of criminology and criminal justice, was quoted Aug. 18 in The Washington Post article “Cuccinelli says sentencing policy should be judged, in part, on cost.”
