University of Missouri–St. Louis junior Hannah Perryman has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Pitcher of the Week in the sport of softball.

Perryman, a criminology and criminal justice major, went 2-0 on the week with a 4-1 win over Bellarmine Sunday and a perfect 2-0 win Monday against No. 15 Southern Indiana. The perfect game extended her NCAA Division II record of single season and career marks to five and six, respectively.

On Sunday against the Knights, she threw a complete game and allowed just four hits with one run, which was the first earned run she allowed in 34.2 innings. She also fanned 14 batters. In her perfect game against the Screaming Eagles, the junior struck out six batters, making her strikeout total 1,061 and tying her for 23rd in NCAA DII history. The win was her 22nd of the season and 75th of her career, while the shutout was her 11th of the season and 31st of her career. The victory also clinched the Tritons’ GLVC regular season title and top seed in this weekend’s championship tournament.

This is the Streamwood, Illinois, native’s third weekly honor this season and 12th of her career.
