Huelsman, Collico garner All-GLVC honors in men’s soccer

Huelsman led the Tritons with eight goals, including four game-winners, and added two assists while Collico scored four goals and tallied a pair of assists this season.

Senior midfielder Jon Huelsman earned First Team All-Great Lakes Valley Conference honors for the second straight year, while senior forward Tyler Collico repeated as a second team selection.

Huelsman, who is majoring in education with an emphasis in physical education, led the University of Missouri–St. Louis Tritons with eight goals, including four game-winners, and added two assists. In GLVC-only games, he recorded 14 points (six goals, two assists), which tied for 13th. His six goals in league play tied the fifth most.

During his three-year career at UMSL, Huelsman totaled 57 career points (24 goals, nine assists), which ninth on the career charts. His 24 goals are seventh best.

Collico, an accounting and business administration major, scored four goals and tallied a pair of assists this season. In four-years at UMSL, Collico accumulated 48 points (19 goals, 10 assists) and graduates tied for 13th on the all-time scoring list. He also ranks fourth with 159 career shots and is tied for ninth with 72 career games played.

UMSL finished the 2015 season with a 7-7-3 record, including a 6-6-3 GLVC mark.
