Eye on UMSL: Next spring’s flowers

Groundskeeper Gregory Ward (at left) and engineering student Jesse Kaiser plant a Kwanzan cherry tree, one of 18 spring-flowering trees presently making their debut on campus, on the Thomas Jefferson Library lawn. The overall goal is to plant 100 such trees over the next few years.

This photograph was taken by UMSL photographer August Jennewein and is the latest to be featured in Eye on UMSL.
