Level One – Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Foundations
Module 1: Multiple Meanings 
This module provides an opportunity to explore the different ways that people define the word ‘diversity’ and the different meanings it has in organizational contexts. Participants will learn more about how these meanings developed throughout history and will discuss the impact of our word usage.
Module 2: Understanding the Importance of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
The purpose of this module is to help build your capacity to articulate why diversity and inclusion is important, not just for some people but for everyone. Participants will learn a multi-level model of the importance and impact of diversity and the interrelated relationship between individuals, groups, organizations, institutions, society, and the global context.
Module 3: Diversity and Identities
This module also helps raise participants’ awareness about how they define and view their own identities and how that in turn influences how they relate to others.
