You might be curious as how we can send so many students to the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing. We are very fortunate to have a very supportive advisory board and very supportive alumni. We ran a CrowdFunding campaign to raise the money to go to the Celebration.
On June 16 we launched the campaign with a reception so donors could meet the students interested in going and those who went last year. We were fortunate to have that event hosted by TDK.
Once the campaign was launched, we were pleasantly surprise with the reaction to the event. We raised over $10,000 (including corporate matches) and that is paying for our way to Hopper. The people who generously funded us were:
