Dear Jamie’s diary. Today was really exciting. We all arrived in Houston and some of us got to go to the conference center and register. Check out the photo. I couldn’t believe how big the conference center was. It kind of all hit me how huge this thing was then. It’s so hot here that I’m suprised the grass isn’t on fire; but this evening we got to cool down and got the Mastercard Welcome event it was really nice. Kat scored a bag of swag by winning the raffle. She got a selfie stick, a charge, some more stuff and a $50 gift card. Sweet. A bunch of people got to network so that was good and we caught up with Mastercard employee and UMSL alum Kate Bennet. It was defnitely a good experience. I can’t wait to go to the conference.
