So yesterday, we saw a key note speaker. A passionate inquisitive woman, invigorated by the room, standing there as a living monument for Women in IT.
I have to say, that I too, was invigorated. 83 different countries represented, and over 15,000 people attending. It is truly an experience to finally be in a room of technologists and see than the image that’s been reprinted thousands of times. Even being a woman, and in the technology field, this room was not the first image to come into my head. Yet here I am. It is beautiful, and chaotic, and loud, and different. This, to me, is the we are here conference. So we are here, and we won’t be subsiding anytime soon. We are here to build solutions, we are here to innovate processes, to reinvent the world we live in. Bigger, faster, better, but most importantly, keeping the people who use the technology in mind.
