I worked my way through part of the career fair between speakers today and was in awe of the amount of women I saw on the floor. I spoke with women from all walks of life today and, despite our differences, we all shared a passion for technology. There were women at booths ready and willing to talk about their companies, professional career women looking to network, students hoping to get their foot in the door, and everyone in between. It was exciting talking to all of these women and realizing that even though we’re different, we’re also the same; we are a community.
