This free seminar is offered by the UM System Office of Human Resources – Retirement Programs. It is designed for faculty and staff 10 years or less from retirement, however, all faculty and staff are welcome to attend. It is a single session offered multiple times throughout the year and provides an overview of all retirement plans offered by the University.

Participants of the DB Plan or Hybrid Plan (http://umurl.us/retplans), be sure to run an online pension estimate, prior to attending the seminar, using the online Pension Benefits Portal available through myHR: http://myhr.umsystem.edu (Click the compass in the upper right-hand corner and navigate to: Navigator >> Self Service >> Benefits >> Retirement Calculator. Then, click the Retirement Calculator link.). Print out your estimate and bring it to the seminar. This seminar will help you review and understand your personal estimate of your pension benefits.

In addition, this seminar will help you review your personal estimate of your pension benefits. This seminar will help you understand information displayed in the typical retirement estimate.
