UMSL has engaged a vendor to perform a complimentary Managed Print Services Assessment. They will be on campus from Tuesday, Jan. 28 through Thursday, Jan. 30. During the assessment, the vendor’s team will visit all areas of the campus to gather crucial information about printers, scanners, and copiers utilized daily. The team will be identifiable with SumnerOne attire and badges. Please allow access to printers and/or scanners during this period. Any questions about this assessment can be directed to Chris Scheetz.
Please note that this is strictly an assessment phase. No changes will be implemented at this time. We aim to comprehensively analyze how our document workflows and related processes support UMSL’s needs. Pairing this assessment with information we have from our current vendor, Xerox, will assist us in gaining a deeper understanding of our printing environment, evaluating the financial impact of printing on UMSL, and determining whether our existing device strategy and placement effectively meet our printing and scanning needs. The team will be present during the following dates and times: Jan. 28-30 – 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
