2015 is here! To celebrate the end of a great 2014 and the beginning of an even better 2015, we took a look at how UMSL students are meeting the demand for the hottest job skills. LinkedIn recently published their list of the 25 hottest job skills of 2014 on their blog. To find out what the hottest skills are they analyzed the skills and experience data in over 330 million LinkedIn member profiles. 
What they found from the data is very good news for UMSL Digital Students! UMSL Digital Students are currently mastering 4 of the most in-demand job skills and are being introduced to many more! The hot job skills that are making UMSL Digital Graduates ideal candidates for in-demand jobs include:
- Statistical Analysis
- SEO/SEM Marketing
- Marketing Campaign Management
- Digital and Online Marketing
LinkedIn also reported that they are seeing Gartner analyst Laura McLellan’s 2012 prediction that by 2017 CMO’s would be spending more on technology than their CIO colleagues starting to come true since digital, online, and SEO (search engine optimization) marketing skills are all in the global top 25 skills this year.
