Thursday, May 19, 2016 – 11:30 AM at Maggiano’s Little Italy (2 The Blvd, Richmond Heights, MO 63117)
Travis SheridanThis talk focuses on tactics and strategies Travis Sheridan, founding Executive Director of Venture Café Foundation – St. Louis, has used to move people from being consumers to being part of a community. The benefit of a community is that it has identity and a personality. It also fosters greater word-of-mouth sharing. Travis’ two basic tools are email and experiences. While each can be complex, Travis will outline simples ways to deploy and monitor effectiveness.
Key takeaways:

  1. Learn the importance of developing and using an authentic voice
  2. Become comfortable with the slow game — we are talking about relationships instead of transactions
  3. Leave with ideas that will allow you to align and amplify your email and experiential efforts
