Mary Troy

Editor and Professor of English, she is the author of the novel Beauties, winner of the USA Book Award, and finalist for Forewords Book of the Year Award. Her previous three books are collections of short stories: Cookie Lily (winner of the Devil’s Kitchen Award); The Alibi Café and other stories; and Joe Baker Is Dead. Her stories and essays have appeared in many anthologies, and among her awards is a Nelson Algren.

Is an MFA candidate with a poetry focus. She is also a dancer, cat enthusiast, and proud owner of a plant named Fernest Stemingway. She has a BA in anthropology and these days is very interested in cross-genre writing.

Is a MFA candidate with a focus in fiction writing at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Liam is also a visual artist, podcaster, and whatever else doesn’t make any money.

Danielle Gillespie

is a MFA candidate with a focus in fiction. She has a BFA in creative writing and literature from the University of Evansville, and she currently manages the Natural Bridge website. When she’s not reading or writing, she’s mothering two dogs and one sassy cat.



Ginger O’Donnell

is an MFA candidate with a focus on fiction. She has a B.A. in Performance Studies from Northwestern University and an MAT in Communication Arts from Webster University. Ginger is a freelance writer and a teacher. Her other passion project, besides writing, is testing recipes from her ridiculously large cookbook collection.

Has more than forty years experience as a writer, grammarian, proofreader, illustrator, and painter. He teaches business and technical writing for the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

Steven Schreiner

is the author of Imposing Presence (chapbook) Too Soon to Leave (poems) and Belly. He has been a fellow at the Virginia Colony for Creative Arts, and at Tall Rock. He earned the MFA in Poetry from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop and the PhD in English from Wayne State University.
