John Dalton is the author of the novel, Heaven Lake, winner of the Barnes and Noble 2004 Discover Award in fiction and the Sue Kaufman Prize from the American Academy of Arts and Letters. His second novel, The Inverted Forest, was published in 2011 and selected as a best book of the year by The St. Louis Post-Dispatch and the Wall Street Journal – Book Lover. John is a graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. He teaches in the MFA Program in Creative Writing at the University of Missouri – St. Louis. During the summer of 2014, we was invited to teach Creative Writing at China’s prestigious Fudan University in Shanghai. He is at work on his third novel.
Sydney Garrett is a poet and essayist from Ferguson, Missouri. She received her BA in Theatre and Dance with emphasis in directing from the University of Missouri- St Louis where she is currently an MFA candidate in poetry. She enjoys antique-hunting, sewing, and spending time with her husband and their son, Sam.

Danielle Gillespie is a MFA candidate with a focus in fiction. She has a BFA in creative writing and literature from the University of Evansville, and she currently manages the Natural Bridge website. When she’s not reading or writing, she’s mothering two dogs and one sassy cat.
Steven Schreiner is the author of Imposing Presence (chapbook) Too Soon to Leave (poems) and Belly. He has been a fellow at the Virginia Colony for Creative Arts, and at Tall Rock. He earned the MFA in Poetry from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop and the PhD in English from Wayne State University.
