The University of Missouri–St. Louis Orchestra and UMSL Community Chorus will perform their annual spring concert at 7:30 p.m. May 4 in the Anheuser-Busch Performance Hall at the Blanche M. Touhill Performing Arts Center at UMSL. The concert is free and open to the public.

UMSL Orchestra will perform works by Joseph Russo, Lucas Foss and Johann Sebastian Bach. James Richards, associate dean for academic affairs in the College of Fine Arts and Communication at UMSL, conducts the ensemble.

UMSL Community Chorus will perform works by Mendelssohn and John Rutter, as well as selections from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Phantom of the Opera.” Robert Ray, professor of music at UMSL, directs the chorus.
