Art for AIDS will showcase new works for sale by University of Missouri–St. Louis students, staff and alumni in the university’s Gallery Visio. All of the proceeds will benefit the Will Flores Fund, which assists children and families affected by HIV or AIDS.  An opening reception will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Nov. 11. The showcase will run through Dec. 16. Guest artist Christopher Schulte is curating the exhibit.

Gallery Visio, the student-run gallery at the university, is in 170 Millennium Student Center at UMSL’s North Campus, One University Blvd., St. Louis County (63121). It is committed to exhibiting art by undergraduate students and alumni at UMSL, as well as emerging artists. The gallery hosts art activities for the purpose of study, education and enjoyment. Regular gallery hours are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
