UMSL women's tennis

The UMSL women’s tennis team (3-1) posted a 5-4 victory over Harding last Monday night. The Tritons will return to the court Friday, when they host Illinois Springfield.

Women’s Basketball
The University of Missouri–St. Louis (22-6) closed out the regular season with a 58-51 win at Maryville last Thursday to finish with a 13-5 Great Lakes Valley Conference record. Senior Hazaria Washington recorded 20 points and 11 rebounds in the win. The UMSL Tritons then hosted Rockhurst on Sunday in the GLVC Tournament First Round and downed the Hawks, 73-41, to advance to the quarterfinals on Thursday. UMSL, the league’s No. 5 seed, will face No. 4 seed Indianapolis at 12 p.m. at the Ford Center in Evansville, Ind.

Men’s Basketball
UMSL (16-11) closed out the regular season with a 68-66 win at Maryville last Thursday with senior Femi John scoring the game-winner with 19 seconds to play. The win gave the Tritons a 9-9 GLVC mark and the league’s No. 8 seed in the GLVC Tournament. UMSL opened postseason play on Sunday by topping No. 9 seed Missouri S&T, 103-79. The Tritons advance to the quarterfinals on Friday at 6 p.m. against No. 2 seed Wisconsin-Parkside at the Ford Center in Evansville, Ind.

Men’s Tennis
UMSL (2-1) defeated No. 39 ranked Harding last Monday night. The Tritons swept doubles en route to the victory. UMSL returns to the court Friday, hosting Illinois Springfield. The Tritons also entertain Southern Indiana on Saturday.

Women’s Tennis
UMSL (3-1) posted a 5-4 victory over Harding last Monday night. After taking a 2-1 lead after doubles, Nos. 4, 5 and 6 all won in singles to garner the match. UMSL returns to the court Friday, hosting Illinois Springfield. The Tritons also entertain Southern Indiana on Saturday.

Men’s Golf
UMSL sits in fourth place out of 18 teams at its own Las Vegas Desert Classic. The Tritons shot a first round score of 298 and are paced by senior Warren Crow, who is tied for ninth with a 73. The final 18 holes are being played today (Monday).

Women’s Golf
UMSL sits in third place out of 14 teams at its own Las Vegas Desert Classic. The Tritons shot a first round score of 326and are paced by sophomore Tayler Hoag, who is tied for fifth with a 78. The final 18 holes are being played today (Monday).
