Eye on UMSL: Bad carp

Poetry of the Wild/St. Louis Fusion is a project developed by Rhode Island artist Ana Flores, to merge poetry with visual arts. The project uses poetry boxes with poetry to act as a means to explore the city of St. Louis and consider how spaces inform mindfulness. Artists and poets from the St. Louis area, including students, alumni and faculty from the University of Missouri–St. Louis, participated in the project.

The poetry boxes will be on display through Aug. 2. The project is hosted by UMSL’s Gallery 210.

The photograph was taken by UMSL photographer August Jennewein and is the latest to be featured in Eye on UMSL.
