UMSL taking part in national Solve Climate by 2030 digital teach-in on April 7
The University of Missouri–St. Louis and Washington University in St. Louis are co-hosting the Missouri edition of Solve Climate by 2030, a nationwide collection of university-hosted statewide webinars focusing on state-level climate action.
A panel of leaders from the Missouri Energy Initiative, Sierra Club and Ameren will talk to a target audience of college and high school students about what is next for Missouri in driving climate change solutions. They’ll also discuss critical opportunities to take action including:
- rapid growth of solar storage and other renewables
- ensuring climate justice.
The effort, led by Bard College in New York, aims to generate enthusiasm for and accelerate state-level climate action by spotlighting ambitious, yet feasible ways to effect change.
