Eye on UMSL: Notarize your ballot

Cornell Lewis (at right), manager of student support services in the Graduate School at the University of Missouri–St. Louis, brought his absentee ballot to the Quad last week to have it notarized ahead of the Nov. 3 election. Bob Ell (at left), the program coordinator for UMSL Global, and Karen Boyd (center), senior director for program/project operations in the Office of Research and Economic & Community Development, were notarizing ballots in an event coordinated by the Voter Engagement Subcommittee of the Civic Engagement Coalition. There will be another opportunity to have absentee ballots notarized – as required by Missouri law – from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Quad between Clark Hall and the Social Sciences and Business Building.

This photograph was taken by UMSL photographer August Jennewein and is the latest to be featured in Eye on UMSL.
