New international students share a laugh during an information session at the start of the University of Missouri–St. Louis’ Global Triton Welcome, which kicked off Monday in the Century Rooms of the Millennium Student Center. The group of 50 students hailed from 17 countries. They toured campus and have been taking part in information sessions put on by members of the UMSL Global staff covering topics such as visas, finances, getting involved on campus and academic programming. There’s also a welcome party for international students planned for Saturday evening in the Provincial House.
