University of Missouri–St. Louis senior philosophy major Gabe Mitchell takes in the work of UMSL Art and Design faculty member Valerie Dratwick‘s “Ophelia” and student Bob Madden’s “1990 boy” during the opening of “Hung Together.” The new exhibit kicks off Gallery 210@FAB’s spring season with an exhibition of UMSL Art and Design faculty and student works hung side by side. The tradition of faculty and students exhibiting their work together delivers important learning outcomes for students and celebrates the work being done by both the faculty and students. By placing the work of a professor and student next to one another, a comparison is presented, and a dialogue occurs that reflects on and enriches the creative research and practice. The exhibition continues through Feb. 16 in Gallery 210@FAB.
