University of Missouri–St. Louis students Rachel Anthonis, Rita Schien, and Vanessa Tessereau rehearsed last Tuesday for UMSL Opera Theatre‘s production of “The Impresario,” Mozart‘s one-act comic opera. The students will have two weekend performances – Friday, April 19, and Saturday, April 20 – in the E. Desmond and Mary Ann Lee Theater at the Blanche M. Touhill Performing Arts Center. The full cast includes UMSL students Anthonis, Schien, Tessereau, Sam Brown and Christian Bradley, and they’re performing under the direction of Karen Kanakis and collaborative pianist Zach Neumann.
