Associate Teaching Professor Michael Behle, the chair of the Department of Art and Design at the University of Missouri–St. Louis and the interim director of Gallery 210@FAB, installs a label next to his acrylic painting titled “Mourning doves and cardinal” on the third floor of the Millennium Student Center. The painting is being displayed alongside an oil painting by UMSL student Danniella Stacy Wyndem as part of the new “Hung Together” exhibition.

“Hung Together” features art made by UMSL Art and Design faculty and their current students. The exhibit was conceived to explore the dynamics of faculty and students working together. It places the work of a professor and student side by side to create an exchange of ideas. Alongside the artwork, viewers will encounter written reflections by both faculty and students, which serve as another entry point into their creative practice.
