Eye on UMSL: A reflective moment

by UMSL Daily | Jul 14, 2025

A storm system visited the UMSL campus last week and left a stunning visual.

Double rainbow over the Recreation and Wellness Center

The storms that rolled through the St. Louis area last week created this breathtaking moment over the University of Missouri–St. Louis campus, showcasing a full rainbow – and partial double rainbow – high above the Recreation and Wellness Center. This photo was taken by Olivia Mendez-Alm, the director of enrollment services for the Office of Admissions.

The photograph is the latest to be featured in Eye on UMSL. View more UMSL photos by visiting the UMSL Flickr and Instagram accounts.
