Shakiba Enayati, an assistant professor of supply chain and analytics, spoke with the Associated Press about delivery drones and how they could become increasingly common in the near future. Enayati highlighted some benefits of the transportation method, including reduced emissions and more accessible delivery of goods for rural citizens. The story and Enayati’s insights were also carried in other publications such as Newser and the New York Post.
The St. Louis Business Journal published a Q&A with Sam Moore, museum studies alum, who is the Missouri Historical Society’s managing director of public history. Moore is working to champion the untold stories of St. Louis at the Missouri History Museum. He pointed to Virginia Minor, an early women’s suffrage advocate, and Annie Malone, America’s first Black female millionaire.
The St. Louis Business Journal also featured Kathleen Welter, a business alum, who was tapped by Caleres to serve as its new chief human resources officer. Welter comes from Woodward & Curran, an environmental consulting and engineering firm, where she was vice president of human resources. She brings more than 30 years of HR experience to the role.
