Attendees of last Friday’s New Student Orientation gathered with mascot Louie the Triton for a photo on the third floor of the Millennium Student Center at the University of Missouri–St. Louis. The daylong session for newly admitted, degree-seeking undergraduate students provided an opportunity for them to get acclimated with the UMSL campus and the services available ahead of the start of the spring semester. Administrators and faculty were present throughout the day, outlining expectations, sharing resources to help students build a success network and offering guidance to make the most of their educational experience.

This photograph was taken by UMSL photographer Derik Holtmann and is the latest to be featured in Eye on UMSL. View more UMSL photos by visiting the UMSL Flickr and Instagram accounts.
