St. Louis Anchor Action Network Director Stefani Weeden-Smith named one of St. Louis Business Journal’s Champions for Diversity and Inclusion
Weeden-Smith was honored along with 12 other individuals, one nonprofit and one for-profit company at the Business Journal’s annual awards luncheon at the Bayer Event Center at the Missouri Botanical Garden.

By night, the 42-year-old New York native hones her poetry skills while in pursuit of her master’s of fine arts in creative writing at the University of Missouri–St. Louis. She’s scheduled to graduate in December, but before then she’s spending her final year at UMSL as the university’s first poet laureate.
