“Throughout Martin Luther King Jr.’s revolutionary movement, he bravely lobbied for a world of love and peace, delivering riveting truths about the necessity to resolve civil injustice and hatred in the 1960s,” Whytney Clay, the senior nursing major said at the outset of an essay she shared with an audience of hundreds at the Blanche M. Touhill Performing Arts Center.
