1. Adding VoiceThread to your course
VoiceThread is integrated into your Canvas environment by your administrator, so you can simply follow the steps below to pull it into your course.
Modules section
- Navigate to the “Modules” area of your course.
- Find the module to which you’d like to add VoiceThread, and click the “Add Content” button.
- Select “External Tool” from the menu.
- Select “VoiceThread” from the list of tools.
This will launch the VoiceThread Setup Page. Proceed to Section 2 below.
2. Setting up your VoiceThread link
After you have added VoiceThread to your course, you’ll need to decide what you want students to see when they click on that link. Start by clicking on the link you’ve just created. This will show you the VoiceThread Setup page, where you click on Individual VT.
After you click on Individual VT, you will see the following options,
Search for your individual VT. Once you found your VT, click on the VT on the left to display the individual VT so that it is seen on the right. This can be seen in the following screenshot:
Click the Share with Class button and you will see the following screenshot letting you know you have successfully shared the VT with the course.
If you click Refresh in the upper-right corner, you will see your unique VT ready for the students to make their comments.
