“Parental Advisory,” will open April 8 in Gallery 210 at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. The exhibit, Gallery 210’s annual showcase of work by studio art students at UMSL, will run through April 24. An opening reception will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. April 8 in the gallery.

UMSL’s Bachelor’s of Fine Arts program allows students to pursue one of six concentrations: drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, graphic design or general fine arts. Faculty members from the Department of Art and Art History at UMSL select the student art for the exhibit.

Tessa Engelman, a senior art history major at UMSL, is the curator for “Parental Advisory.”

The gallery is in the Telecommunity Center at UMSL, One University Blvd., St. Louis, Mo. 63121. Regular hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

“Parental Advisory” is sponsored by the Department of Art and Art History at UMSL, The Center for the Humanities at UMSL, Missouri Arts Council and the Regional Arts Commission.
