Gallery Visio to go ‘Digital’ with new exhibit
Gallery Visio at the University of Missouri–St. Louis will go “Digital” with its next exhibit.
As the exhibit’s name implies, it will feature digital painting, computer-based illustration, digital manipulations of traditional forms of art, computer-manipulated photography, mixed media with digital elements and computer-generated imagery.
“Digital” will be on display Jan. 27 through Feb. 17 in Gallery Visio. An opening reception will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Jan. 27. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
Gallery Visio, a UMSL student-run art space, is in 170 Millennium Student Center at UMSL’s North Campus, 1 University Blvd. in St. Louis County (63121). The gallery is committed to exhibiting art by undergraduate students and alumni at UMSL, as well as emerging artists. Regular hours are from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
