Join the University Cello Choir for an evening of all-cello arrangements starting at 7:30 p.m.  April 17 in the E. Desmond and Mary Ann Lee Theater at the Blanche M. Touhill Performing Arts Center at the University of Missouri–St. Louis.

The Cello Choir will perform under the direction of Kurt Baldwin, cellist in the Arianna String Quartet, the resident quartet at UMSL.

The audience can expect a diverse and eclectic repertoire, ranging from the Brazilian masterpiece Bachianas Brasileiras No.5 by the Brazilian composer Heitor Villa-Lobos to works by George Frideric Handel, as well as music from Frank Sinatra and The Beatles.

The concert is free and open to the public, and is sponsored by the Department of Music at UMSL.
