The University of Missouri–St. Louis baseball team had five players earn all-Great Lakes Valley Conference honors, including a pair of first team nods to senior starting pitcher Jeremy Butler and junior outfielder John Pilackas. Junior third baseman Trevor Nathanson, junior utility player Charlie Mohr and junior designated hitter Taylor Holman were all named to the league’s second team.

Butler led the UMSL Tritons with an ERA of 2.19 and has a team-best 7-3 record on the mound. He also led the pitching staff with 57 strikeouts and held opponents to a batting average of .235. Butler has tossed eight complete games this season, which ties the best single season record in program history.

Pilackas is one of the Tritons’ most powerful hitters, leading the team with a slugging percentage of .613. He owned 44 hits, including 10 home runs, 14 doubles and two triples. His 10 home runs ties the fourth best single season mark in program history. Pilackas also batted .293 and recorded 32 RBIs and scored 30 runs.

Nathanson hit for a .309 batting average and was third in hits with 53, including six home runs and 15 doubles. He also owned a slugging percentage of .494 and scored 32 runs.

Mohr posted a team-best .339 batting average and led the squad with 62 hits and 45 RBIs. He also had 90 total bases, including 16 doubles, three triples and a pair of home runs on the season and has scored 33 runs.

Holman batted .317 for the Tritons this season with 26 hits, including seven doubles. He also had 15 RBIs and 13 runs scored.
