Hannah Miller (9) recorded a career-best 13 kills to help the Tritons beat St. Joseph’s while Lindsay Meyer dished out 40 assists and tallied 11 digs.

Volleyball
The University of Missouri–St. Louis bounced back Sunday to defeat St. Joseph’s, 3-0, after falling Saturday at Indianapolis, 3-1. Junior Hannah Miller recorded a career-best 13 kills to help the UMSL Tritons sweep the Pumas. Senior Haley Brightwell added to the offense with 10 kills, while junior Lindsay Meyer dished out 40 assists and tallied 11 digs. UMSL (13-8, 8-5 GLVC) returns home for the first time since Oct. 4 to host Maryville on Tuesday night and will close out its home schedule by hosting Southern Indiana on Saturday and Bellarmine on Sunday.

Men’s Soccer
The Tritons shutout Truman State in a 4-0 road victory Friday, while tying No. 6 ranked and GLVC regular season champion Quincy, 0-0, in double overtime on Sunday. Freshman Nick Werner and junior Jon Huelsman scored two goals each to pace the Triton offense against the Bulldogs. Defense was key in the draw against the Hawks as senior goalkeeper Nick Lenkman recorded a career-best 10 saves to keep the Hawks offense quiet. UMSL (11-3-2, 10-3-1 GLVC) will close out regular season play Wednesday at home when they host Maryville. The Tritons will then host an opponent to be determined on Sunday in the GLVC Tournament First Round.

Women’s Soccer
After suffering a 1-0 loss at Truman State on Friday in its final road contest of the season, the Tritons battled back for a 1-0 overtime win over Quincy on Sunday. Junior Lucy Devereux found the back of the net just 1:15 into the extra period off a pass from junior Hunter Wagoner. It was Devereux’s first goal of the season. UMSL (7-8-1, 5-8-1 GLVC) will close out its season on Wednesday at home when they host Maryville.

Men’s Golf
The Tritons placed 11th at the TVA Credit Union Classic hosted by North Alabama last Monday and Tuesday. Freshman Kaylor Steger carded a team-best 223 to finish in a tie for 27th place, while junior Colby Yates was two strokes behind in a tie for 29th place with a 225. UMSL is in Sun Juan, Puerto Rico today and tomorrow for the Puerto Rico Classic, which will close out its fall schedule.
