The University of Missouri–St. Louis closed out the regular season last Thursday with an 81-67 home loss to Maryville, but bounced back to secure an 80-68 victory over William Jewell on Sunday in the Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament First Round to advance to the quarterfinals. Senior Aareon Smith tallied 26 points and 13 rebounds, while senior Tylor Wimbish followed with 19 points and 11 rebounds. UMSL (19-10), now the No. 7 seed in the field, will face No. 2 seed Drury on Thursday night at 6 p.m. at the Family Arena in St. Charles, Mo.

UMSL (14-13), now the No. 6 seed in the field, will face No. 3 seed Southern Indiana on Friday night at 8:30 p.m. at the Family Arena in St. Charles, Mo.
