A gigantic Louie looming over the Millennium Student Center at the University of Missouri–St. Louis, a Star Wars intro and a monster truck are just a few of the surprises to see in the new UMSL Day video collection.

If the creativity wasn’t enough, viewers can also win cool prizes by just voting for their favorite.

Members of the University Marketing and Communications staff created the videos to promote UMSL Day on March 19, but would like help in selecting the best one.

“Each day, for the next eight days, we’ll post one of the videos on the UMSL social media channels,” said Jackie Schlarman, assistant director of university communications at UMSL. “Vote for your favorite by commenting, sharing, liking or re-tweeting. Each engagement counts as a vote and makes you eligible to win some great prizes such as a selfie stick, USB drive or a GoPro.”

Vote by visiting UMSL’s Youtube, Facebook or Twitter pages.

“These videos were made by the talented marketing staff, only using iMovie and their creativity,” Schlarman said. “Our team had fun thinking outside the box and creating these fun videos that we hope others enjoy as well.”
