Photographer August Jennewein captures scenes from around campus Friday as UMSL emerged from two days of winter weather.

Snow blanketed North Campus at the University of Missouri–St. Louis last week as a two-day winter storm dropped as much as much as 8 inches in St. Louis County.

Crews cleared snow near the loading dock on the north side of the J.C. Penney Building. UMSL Postal Services is scheduled to begin operating from 7 J.C. Penney Building, near that loading dock and Printing Services, on Feb. 15.

Kristoffer Tomlinson plows the parking lot outside Woods Hall

Kris Tomlinson, a member of the Facilities Maintenance team, cleared snow from the parking lot outside Woods Hall on Friday afternoon. Tomlinson and other staff members from the Maintenance and Grounds teams began clearing snow on campus at 2 a.m. Wednesday and worked into the weekend to get snow cleared for the university to resume normal operations today.
