New international students gathered with UMSL Global team members for a group photo Monday morning as they kicked off Global Triton Welcome, a weeklong orientation event designed to help students get acclimated ahead of the start of the spring semester on Jan. 21 at the University of Missouri–St. Louis. They were scheduled to tour campus and will be taking part in information sessions led members of the UMSL Global staff on university and American life with a focus on topics such as visas, finances, ways to get involved on campus and academic programming.
