The Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs – originally founded in San Francisco in 1942 – has a more than 50-year history of developing civic leaders in St. Louis by immersing them in rigorous, experiential, community-based leadership training. The program has been housed in the Community Innovation and Action Center at the University of Missouri–St. Louis since 2021.

This year’s fellows spent the past nine months completing dozens of impactful projects for St. Louis nonprofits, governmental departments and businesses; interviewing hundreds of leaders and learning the classic Coro tools that have served fellows during their time in the program and beyond. Several of the fellows are planning to continue working in the St. Louis community after graduation, while others will be pursuing advanced degrees or other career opportunities elsewhere.
