No. 22 UMSL remained atop the GLVC standings when it played second-place McKendree to a scoreless draw on Wednesday night in Lebanon, Illinois. The draw ended the Tritons’ seven match winning streak. UMSL outshot the Bearcats 12-9, but the home team had a 6-3 edge in shots on goal. UMSL goalkeeper Allysa Wolf turned away all six shots for her fourth shutout of the season. Wolf, who on Monday was named the GLVC defensive player of the week, added a fifth shutout while making three saves in a 9-0 victory at William Jewell. She now has a scoreless streak of 533 minutes 9 seconds. After being frustrated offensively against McKendree, the Tritons’ attack broke out against the Cardinals.
