Navigating through the highs and lows of the aviation industry can be both challenging and rewarding.
Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge, director of Lambert-St. Louis International Airport, will speak on “Taking Flight in Aviation and Leadership” at 5:30 p.m. March 7 in the E. Desmond and Mary Ann Lee Theater at Blanche M. Touhill Performing Arts at the University of Missouri–St. Louis.
Hamm-Niebruegge became head of Lambert in January 2010. The airport is the primary air carrier facility for the St. Louis region, handling more than 12 million passengers annually. She manages 500 employees with yearly revenues around $165 million and chairs the 17-member St. Louis Airport Commission.
The lecture is part of the UMSL Executive Leadership Consortium’s Distinguished Speaker Series, which features a leader of notable achievement to discuss current business topics. A reception will follow the lecture at 6:30 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public, and sponsored by UMSL’s Executive Leadership Consortium, Office of Alumni Relations, College of Business Administration, E. Desmond Lee Endowed Professorship for Development Women Entrepreneurs, Sue Shear Institute for Women in Public Life and Gender Studies Program.
