The winners were selected from a field of 130 entries.

Poster contest winners are: first place, Mohammed Alshbeki, a junior in business administration; second place, Kyle Weinkein, senior in media studies; and third place, Amanda Obenhaus, a senior in media studies. The winners were selected from a field of 25 entries, all UMSL students.

The winning posters will be placed around campus. For each contest, the first through third place winners received $100, $75 and $50, respectively.

The winning entries and honorable mentions from both contests will be displayed at Gallery Visio at UMSL April 5-19, with an opening reception from 4 to 7 p.m. on April 5.

The exhibit is free and open to the public.
