A pair of political scientists at the University of Missouri–St. Louis provided their expertise this week on a trio of news stories.
Dave Robertson, Curators’ Teaching Professor of Political Science, was quoted in a story about issues Missouri lawmakers will address during the remaining two weeks of the current legislative session. Terry Jones, professor of political science at UMSL, was quoted May 2 in a St. Louis Post-Dispatch article about criticism Robert G. Lowery, mayor of Florissant, Mo., has receiving. In the article, Jones was quoted specifically in regard to the fact that Florissant operates as a “strong mayor” form of government.
