This Image was created by student at Cardinal Ritter College Prep High School in St. Louis. It's on display at Gallery 210 through May 19 as part of the exhibit “Collaborative II: The Things That Bring Us Together.”

Students from three St. Louis-area high schools have collaborated on a new exhibit of their artwork that will be on display in Gallery 210 at the University of Missouri–St. Louis. “Collaborative II: The Things That Bring Us Together” can be viewed through May 19.

Participating schools include Cardinal Ritter College Prep High School in St. Louis, Central Visual and Performing Arts High School in St. Louis and Thomas Jefferson School in St. Louis County.

The artwork in the exhibition ranges from ceramics to digital photography.

Students from the three schools meet to constructively critique each other’s unfinished work with the intention of the students learning how to give and receive a critique. The finished artwork is then shown in Gallery 210.

Gallery 210 is located on UMSL’s North Campus. Regular hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. All Gallery 210 exhibits are free and open to the public.

“Collaborative II” is sponsored by The Center for the Humanities at UMSL, Regional Arts Commission and Missouri Arts Council.
