Eye on UMSL: Gratitude

UMSL students gather in The Nosh at the Millennium Student Center as Ally Hoehn, a senior majoring in logistics and operations management, explains Operation Gratitude to Rep. Clem Smith, who stopped by before his “Lunch with a Legislator” event upstairs in the Century Rooms.

Through Operation Gratitude, the UMSL chapter of Delta Sigma Pi collect letters written by fellow UMSL students to be sent to actively deployed service members. Hoehn said Delta Sigma Pi’s efforts were a success with 60 letters written and collected.

Also pictured (from left) are Brian Kelly, Jennifer Puccini, Cierra Powers and Cameron Roark.

The photograph was taken by UMSL photographer August Jennewein and is the latest to be featured in Eye on UMSL.
