UMSL Men's Tennis

The UMSL Tritons men’s tennis team opened its spring schedule with a 5-4 win over Bellarmine on Sunday morning.

Women’s Basketball
The University of Missouri–St. Louis (19-6, 12-5 Great Lakes Valley Conference) posted two key GLVC wins last weekend, stunning No. 10 ranked Quincy on the road, 79-62, last Thursday, before posting an 80-76 win over Truman State last Saturday night in the regular season home finale. The UMSL Tritons moved into third place in the West Division standings with the wins, and fourth place overall. Senior Devonna Smith averaged 14.5 points per game, while senior Hazaria Washington averaged 13 points, seven rebounds and 2.5 assists per game. Junior Alexis Lawrence added 13 points and five assists per game. UMSL travels to Maryville on Thursday in regular season finale.

Men’s Basketball
UMSL (14-11, 8-9 GLVC) secured its bid to the GLVC Tournament with an 80-65 win over Truman State on Saturday night in the regular season home finale. Senior Femi John had a game-high 22 points in the win. The Tritons lost their other game, a 78-76 setback, at Quincy on Thursday night. Junior Tylor Wimbish scored a game-high 24 points in that effort. UMSL will close out the regular season on Thursday, traveling across town to Maryville. A win by the Tritons would secure a first round GLVC Tournament game.

Men’s Tennis
UMSL (1-1) opened its spring schedule with a 5-4 win over Bellarmine on Sunday morning. The Tritons won two of three doubles matches before splitting singles with the Knights. UMSL will host Harding Monday night at the Frontenac Racquet Club.
